French Lick Scenic Railway
Start in French Lick, home to the French Lick Scenic Railway. Hop aboard for a 90 minute train ride that will take you through 20 miles of Hoosier National Forest, limestone rock-cuts, and the 2,200 foot Burton Tunnel, one of the longest railroad tunnels in the state. Check the schedule for special weekend and holiday rides like staged train robberies and The Polar Express. Adults will love the special tasting trains offered throughout the year including bourbon, craft beer wine, tequila and chocolate.
Princeton Depot
Head west for a visit to the Princeton Depot in Princeton, Indiana. Once the lifeline of commerce and transportation for the county, the Princeton Depot is now home to the Gibson County Visitors Center and features a railway museum with a restored train caboose.

Evansville Museum Transportation Center
In downtown Evansville, visit the Evansville Museum Transportation Center, part of the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science. The center features exhibits on aviation, riverboats, and railroads including a 1908 steam switch engine, a 1926 tavern-lounge car, and a circa 1900 caboose.
Dubois County Museum
Prefer miniature trains? The Dubois County Museum in Jasper is the largest county museum in Indiana and has an entire room dedicated to an ever changing array of miniature train sets managed by a dedicated team of volunteers!
Spirit of Jasper

The Jasper Train Depot in Jasper, Indiana also offers scenic rail excursions. Riders on the Spirit of Jasper train can enjoy a Ride & Dine trip on beautifully restored vintage lounge cars equipped with climate control, restrooms, comfortable seating and a cash bar.
