The Mitchell Persimmon Festival offers up fun for the whole family. This week-long festival features carnival rides, games, vendors and more. Come hungry for our food vendors and be sure to save some room for persimmon ice cream! Our grand parade is on September 30th.

A free community music festival celebrating songs at Wesselman Woods! The event will take place at the Odonata Pond amphitheater, located in the Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve. In addition to music, the festival will also feature food trucks and a beer garden by Bokeh Lounge.
