DESCRIPTION:Once a year the city of Cannelton celebrates its rich history by hosting the Cannelton Heritage Festival on the second Saturday of October. The festival is set on Washington (Main) Street in the heart of Cannelton’s historic district. \nThe main focus of the festival is its arts and crafts vendors. Artisans and craftsmen from all over display\, demonstrate\, and sell their hand-crafted items. Several regional blacksmiths will be forging metal artwork demonstrating their craftsmanship and talents throughout the day. In addition to the arts and crafts\, there is music throughout the day and a variety of food vendors. \nOther activities include: Horse Rescue South will have a petting zoo\, the Southern Indiana Mule and Draft Horse Association will provide free wagon rides\, Agape Church will have a pedal tractor pull and Renew Cannelton\, Inc. will sponsor a kids’ carnival and pumpkin painting.

DESCRIPTION:Art at the Old Capitol takes place in Historic Downtown Corydon\, Indiana. This year’s Art at the Old Capitol will feature multi-venue\, juried ‘Galleries of the Square’\, a vendors fair packed with artists and artisans from across the region\, food booths\, children’s art experience\, musical entertainment throughout town\, and Zimmerman Art Glass demonstrations. \nThis year will also feature the River City Orchestra\, and the evening will conclude with a very special concert by the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Quartet!
